Hey John, I understand that to be quite the popular form of "grain" delivery. I'm still here lurking about and wanted to add my appreciation for your latest masterpiece. Awesome work, as always.

Thank AS, it's at the real fun stage right now when you can watch it all come together.

I over laid the eyes, tusk, and teeth on the Hog with white vinyl to make it pop more.

Not much for me at the swap meet. After the huge one at Perry GA, I expected that. But I was painting yesterday and got my new heat gun ( used a couple of times so far) out to help the paint cure a little faster. It ran on heat about 1 minute and just quit. Still runs on cool but no heat. I did find a NIB Hangar 9 heat gun and four HS-425BB servos for $30 total. I needed some servos for the Telemaster 40 I got at the last local swap meet so I did some good today.

Got to get to the painting and sanding on fuel tanks now. I'll finish the light gray today and then the majority of the painting is done.

Thanks guys,
30 min masking, 10 minutes painting. I got a little over aggressive on the masking standoffs. I wanted a nice soft line on the camo separation and got a tad of overspray. I'll address that in the weathering.

Thanks

I'm letting the paint cure out until tomorrow. Then I will rub it down all over with 1500 grit to remove the overspray and prep it for decals.
Moved back on the pylons and tanks. Panel line tape on them and then several coats of build-up primer. Let it set until tomorrow and then wet sand. Meanwhile, the nose cone is done too.

Wow, John.......you painted that entire area with an airbrush. I'm impressed (Nothing new here). I wouldn't have touched anything that size without a detail gun. Great job.

Thanks guys

My old Badger single action throws out a ton of paint, downside is the overspray which needs to be addressed.

If I'm in country and I can't get A-10's, I'll take F-16's for CAS all day long.

Love me some F-16's....they've saved the day more times than I can remember...

That's a great looking model J; can't wait to see it up close and personal
