Very true Philippe!
I have been sanding on the glassed surfaces today. Found that my filler coat wasn't quite hacking it as far as filling all the weave. So they will all require another coat and even more sanding. Haven't touched the bottom of them yet.
Got tired of sanding on them and decided to take the fuse outside to start work on the bottom. Picking out GG, block sanding the seams, start shaping the intake, etc. It was sunny but 40 degrees so I didn't do it too long. But a good start on it.
I did sand the nose cone, gave it a filler coat, wet sanded and then primered. That did show a few blemishes but not bad. Shouldn't be too hard to fix. Mounted the nose cone with magnets and locator dowels so that part is done. It only weighs 2.8 oz and is 11" long.
A few pics of the work today.

Like I said, sanding and primering. I gave the hatch areas another layer of glass/poly to help that area hold it's shape when I cut it out.
Have the vertical fin attached to the base with a middle magnet position and then locator dowels at each end.
Had to throw it together to see what she looks like.
