Hey, I also worked on the 2012 US Business Census Report, paid bills, took calls from our work comp insurance company,called Ford and asked why my new F-150 navigation doesn't have a smart card in the slot, talked to my office in IL and my Gillette manager( 3 times) , and went to the post office and grocery store. I'm a busy guy.
But I started at 4:30 am too.

worse a subaru ...my poor 94 mustang with 246,000 on it is having to take up the slack.

Wouldnt want to rebuild a Ru once let alone twice .

The Viper is a favorite of mine - looking forward to seeing what you do with this one John! That's going to be one heck of a large canopy - tricky to keep the plug halves symmetrical, no?

only plane i can think of that had its name changed in the middle of production.i think it had to do with lockheed buying up GD.

Yes Thomas, it is difficult to keep the canopy halves the same.

My little 94 Conv. GT is running great I just went over 160k only had to change clutch oil plugs and tires.

No Nut, I stayed with the 5.4
I just don't care for a 6 cyl. Guess you can't teach old dogs new tricks.

Well, I felt I made a mistake on the vertical fin. Didn't leave enough margin to shape properly. So I scrapped it and hot wired a core for the vertical. Sheeted with 1/16" balsa.
Also worked on the canopy plug, shaped sanded, spackled, sanded, and finally 3 layers of 3 oz glass/epoxy. Tomorrow I'll sand and then give it a light coat of bondo.

I have a friend that got that eoc boost v6, he pulls his 31' travel trailer with it and he says it has more guts than his last v8! He really likes it... Ford seems to be really having some great stuff these days.... w.

I have the eco boost in my Ford "Flex" 355 HP and 300 ft/lb of torque.
My wife calls it the ego boost and Wade thinks I drive it too fast (he is right) but we did make it to and back from LV in one piece.

Hey John! Yeah I've been able to lurk but haven't had time to build/share much. In fact all I've scratched lately is a scale Eagle. Bald Eagle, not F-15. It will be an FPV platform.

So cool that you are still able and motivated to build and inspire!
