Auster-Britplan Build-Off Jan 2013- Jun 2013

I am going to try to complete a build for Sundancer's BritPlan build off. If all goes well, I will be flying a new model around the yard this summer. I build slowly, as I do have other committments, but the model seems simple enough to have a shot at it.

I am going to build an Auster AOP.9, and convert a FF glo model to electric R/C. The model is going to be blown up from 1/12 to 1/10, upping the 36" span to about 44" I bought a set of plans on eBay, but they are also available on outerzone.

and here are a couple of shots of what I hope it will look like

Subscribed. I also like the AOP9, and it was on my list until I saw one had been added already.

9 completed models (edalpoe's Simplex reported finished TODAY!)
13 build logs showing substantial progress, some almost finished airframes, and I am sure they will all be finished.
3 build logs started, but seem to be stalled - come on guys
Okay, I have been shamed into posting an update.

Glad to hear this one is still alive mrdj! I was looking forward to seeing it, one of my favourite Ron Moulton plans.
