I think you sold me. I'm still too new to this to start unraveling chargers. I would like to be able to charge 2 stock batteries at a time, so I think I'll buy the X1-13 and try to pick up a second charger as well.

As for the 3 Turnigy batteries, really not sure what to do with them now. They'll probably end up in the classifieds section here.

First thing to do is remove the stock battery box and use some velcro on the frame and battery instead. MUCH easier to get the battery plug on and off and also opens up the opportunity to use any battery. Simply pop the jst plug out of the battery box, remove the 2 screws and the box comes right off.

The included charger...seems that it cuts out at 4.25 to 4.26 volts. At least that is my experience when leaving it on longer than when the light turns off. It hasn't charged it over that for me yet.

Just joined the mini SYMA X1 Quadcopter club . It terned up in the post today

I took it out of the box this morning , charged the lipo up for 20mins then i turned my TX on .. pluged my LiPo into the mini X1 and.......

BUGGER no bind just like my first attempt to bind up to my micro Hubsan quad.....

OK! calm down and try again

1 Unplug Lipo (check...)
2 Tern off TX (check...)

Here we go again ...

1 Turn on TX.. BLEEP.BLEEP.BLEEP.BLEEP.BLEEP.BLEEP.BLEEP.BLEEP.BL EEP
2 Now quickly plug the LiPo into the X1... RED LIGHT IN X1 starts to FLASH ... flash.flash.flash.flash.flash.flash.flash.flash. (COOOONSTANT RED LIGHT) showing on the mini SYMA X1 Quadcopter

OK its time to wind her up .. Push forward on the throttle stick . All 4 motors are running fine and im holding her on the ground (so the gyros have time to set) Dont take off yet guys till the gyros set, give it a few secs for the gyros to do all the magic stuf

HERE WE GO !! Now take her up to 6 inchs off the deck (my X1 drifted to the left and back) now compensate with trim, and do a few small hops to sort out the trim until the lipo runs down.. (DONT GO FOR IT UNTIL YOU HAVE TRIMED YOUR X1 OUT WITH SMALL 6 INCH HOPS)

Now charge your SYMA X1 Quadcopter LiPo for 45 mins (AND GO FOR IT) and velcro a key fob camera to your cap and make a VIDEO and post it here

LOL i love my SYMA X1 Quadcopter and iv'e only had it for a day

And i love my Hubsan Micro Quad to

syma x1 mini quad test flight (1 min 37 sec)

Richos, welcome to the club. Such drama getting your x1 to maiden! It flies very nice though. I noticed that your Christmas tree is still up. You could conveniently run your x1 into the tree and practice tree retrieval before you take this outdoor. LOL. Enjoy your new toy.

Hey Arrowhead, I'll take them off your hands if they don't sell in the classifieds but I won't pay more than my cost from the HK USA warehouse which is $13.50 shipped. I would say keep them though, you may want them down the road.

I would think that these would work well. Plus the seller said they will customize your order. I just emailed them to see if they sell a charger or recomend one.

the advantage of this over parallelcharging is that you will actually SEE what is going on with your individual batteries ...

@Stbknox, Buying the NanoTech 600mAh directly from Hobby King is a little cheaper. But after you factor in the shipping cost and the shipping time, you are correct, the savings is trivial. It's your choice, if you want to deal with a US based EBay seller. His rating has been perfect!

BUT, I would caution you on the charging cable you link. Those seems to be the wrong plugs for your application. You would need JST on BOTH ends. That particular cable is good for mCPx style batteries, not the NanoTech 600mAhs. Also, when you parallel charging 6x 600mAh, unless you have a power source that could sustain about 4A, your charging time will be extremely long.

In summary, yes on the 5x Nano Tech deal. No, on the charging cable. And I recommend that you look for a good charger. Take a look at one I suggested in post #2.

Thanks for the quick response. I think 3 at a time would just be fine. Your last link isnt working so Im not sure what it is but now I only need to find a charger, is that what your referring to as power adaptor? Can you relink please? Thanks
