I haven't got the "live" part yet, ( waiting for the resin to cure for a few days before I make the cut) F&A are super stiff. My first experiance with spread tow fabric, man this stuff is unbelievably stout. I could have used the lighter weight fabric (64 g^sm) instead of the 80g^sm. I contacted the manufacture (Textreme) because the web site mentions 45g spread tow but the rep said they have no plans to manufacture that material anytime in the near future... I think that it would be ideal for this type of application. The next one( beta build), I will use the 64g material. I am quite happy with the results so far except the time frame... Thank you for your patients...

Plans? Plans?!?

Where's the link for the kit?

I, too, can't wait to see it fly. Stick a #16 on the nose looking back, that ought to be cool, interesting and educational. (It can show things like flutter, flex, and other anomalies.)

Nice flying, Curtis! I think I'll put some more Velcro spots on the tie dyed Sprit E and take some fun angled videos. From the nose is fine, but I agree, sometimes it's good to have the wing or empennage in view, too.

Gotta FIX the SE now.
