And besides, I got the MV as a Christmas gift so it would be rude to intently tear the model apart for a balsa model. :P
These guts are just begging to be installed in every Peanut ever designed. Can you buy the guts separately? Is it worth it?

Nice plane.

Finally got around to mini vaporizing my P-80. Flies just as well as the larger one only the wings flex like crazy. I had to put carbon fibre braces under the wings since they are only 2mm thick!
AUW 12.7gms
7mm super slicks blue motor with 3 bladed Airhogs fan = 9.9gms thrust
12" wing span

I later put on an mcx tail rotor motor and blade and almost folded the wings entirely.

Aha so the Mini Vapor brick can handle the current of a 7mm motor?

Well honestly, just buy the aircraft. I come from a different generation, from a time when only actuators were a possibility and an R/C set would cost 300 bucks.
The plane with gearbox, battery and brick with that weight and that price should be bought without hesitation

It is a steal at the price there asking so cheap for the full set up especially if you already have your own transmiter, I know when I have the cash spare I'll be getting more than one of these for the hanger always with the intention of turning them in to something hafe decent looking ,well I will attempt anyway

get the plane, carefully pull the guts out, and sell the airframe for 10 bucks. your still saving lots of money. the plane is cheaper than the parts.
example mossie.
12 serov
12 servo
14 motor
14 motor
60 brick
112 dollars just the gear, not including the airframe.
new plane is 120.
any rtf is going to be this way.

RNAF, it also handles the current of the 8.4mm motor as well! I am also using it to power a larger version with the 8mm motor and a 30mm gws fan. So I'm guessing it has the same esc as the larger brick. . That mean lighter more powerful planes. To bad you can't add a third servo.

I'd be okay with 3 channels. I would just be cruising around with a stable Peanut or Dime Scale plane.

yeah, but 55 for a rx is hard to do. eaiser 90 for an entier plane.

but even still, the board is 3 grams, 2 servo rx esc. deltang still cant beat that, unless you go actuators, at 14 a pop.

Hi,
had fun last weekend at a small indoor flying event nearby. Short sequence of my big 13 gram floater (post 26) starting around 09:00.
FGH Hallen-Flugschau 2013 (12 min 32 sec)

Have fun
