This is my 20 inch flying wing made out of 3mm depron and a carbon fiber strip on the leading edge for support. It has a 2 gram outunner, a 3x2 prop, 160 mah 1 cell hyperion lipo, AR6400 converted to brushless, and a cheap hobbyking 3 amp brushless ESC. Flying weight with battery is 19 grams.

I've never tried those props, all I have is the 3020 ones. They seem to work well, the wing has a little over a 1:1 thrust ratio with the 3x2 prop.

Um, radio programming, wing type/mixing, elevon. It's in the manual, which you can get online at horizon hobby or spektrum website.

Please share the construction. I llways wanted a wing but never got me one.This seems cheap enough having some DTrx's and some 1.7gr HK servos and yea.. some 2 grammers too.

I'll get a drawing on paper sometime today. As for the mixing, I used v-tail because that uses the rudder and elevator on the ar6400. It is a very floaty plane.

The standard block has only elevator and rudder servos on board, so elevon mixing is not of use without also mixing the ailerons to move the rudder servo...first set elevons on... then go to one of the two available mixes and use aileron as master with rudder as the slave.. set the mix to 100% then when you move the aileron stick the rudder(on board servo) will move...you may have to fiddle with the +-on the %ages in the mix to get the movements going the correct way

also as above.....I will have to try that on my wing...its a much simpler solution.... duh! I am getting old and dont see the obvious sometimes..lol

From the picture it looks like a simple constant chord wing..with a chord at about 6".. whatever the chord, it can be enlarged a bit if you want a slower wing.. but remember extra weight on these light weights is a killer to performance..
Have a look here for a variety of V wing shapes... then scale them down to an appropriate span and build as per the specs from 100mph

Here is a drawing of half the wing, You might want to make the prop slot more at a 90 degree to the center. I used a 3x1 mm carbon fiber strip on the whole leading edge, there is no airfoil. Balance point is half way on each side of the leading edge. You also have to round the front so the carbon strip can bend around it.. Sorry if some of this isn't clear, I am sick and have a 101.9 degree fever, so I can't think to well.

what is the angle for the sweep back? or the distance it sweeps back..

working from your picture and measurements I get this..I hope its close.. a sweep of almost 35 degrees

Here's the mini StinRay you can find on this indoor site plans and all. Easy flyer love it. Weighs a little more 28gr good indoor flyer. 3mm foam I used a mustang mtor and brick along with a Mossy prop. Great for combat.

I couldn't find a protractor when I was measuring it. Your picture has the same sweep back as my wing, the second picture looks correct for plans.
