FWIW, I did not see anything special for the Christmas header or Terry.
I am still viewing in Classic mode, perhaps they did not want to replace the scowling Terry scolding me to "switch now" on that one?

As to the supposed "War" on Christmas, if there is one it is doing very badly.
We just had a month or more of wall to wall Christmas in our culture.

I did see that some images were being blocked by some countries, maybe that was the case here.

Maybe, but I'm taking it as- call it X-mas.as many nowadays will to keep under the radar.
Anyone making money will keep using it to stay that way and it sucks as a replacement for such an even as Christmas.

FWIW, they have been using the abbreviation "X" or variations of it for 1000 years to replace the name Christ in print.

It is another part of the largely imagined war on Christmas that there is a secular agenda to do it.

In reality, it could simply stem from laziness on the part of early type setters.
A lot easier to use "X" in a document with multiple instances instead of the fully spelled out name.

I bet even your son would do it if he was texting about it.

This is almost as absurd as people selling "Holiday fir trees" ...

Woodstock, can you see the "New Years" Terry? He has a party hat, a noisemaker, and a drink glass to toast the new year in.

Not sure if you are joking, but there is nothing unusual about Terry for me right now in any of the display modes.

No, I am not joking in the least.

Terry has festive garb for New Years Day.

If you are not seeing it, you either have settings on your computer that aren't letting the new image be loaded (like some already mentioned in this thread), or something between you and the RCG server is blocking it.

I suggest opening a topic in SS/C to let the administrators know.

There seems to be a predisposition in some, to believe that others are 'pulling their leg,' instead of assuming others are simply telling the truth.

Sorry if I offended you, not my intention.

Shift + reload made no difference, still the regular header.

Not sure this warrants a post in S/C, everything else is working fine.

FWIW, I am running Seamonkey.
Also just tried in Internet Exploder 8, and same old Terry.

Could have something to do with the country settings, might try that.

I could not find it, but I recall a mention in SS/C about some such images being blocked in countries other than the US.

I took no offense, and my aside was intended more at others, than at you.

I understand what you are saying but if you allow one, then people will want Ramadan, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, and God/Buddha/Allah/Flying Spaghetti Monster only knows what else types of displays everywhere, too. There's not enough room and it's too much of a hassle, especially if the religious factions start fighting over it. Easier to just not allow anything, especially in public, city, government buildings. Sure it sucks, but that's the way it is.

There are places where they figured that out. They set up a system where nobody is ever happy, so at least it's equitable. They basically have a lottery for holiday displays - last year the atheists won a lot of spots, and nobody was happy with that - so at least it was fair
