Good job there Icurus told you not to fly close to the sun..........these young couch flyer Turks,give them a few beers before bedtime and next thing ya know they fly close to thefirplace and get their wingand tail feathers burnt!!!!!!

Yes, Newbeflyer, like Icarus drawn to the sun, my foolish pride allowed my plane to be drawn towards the fire like a moth to a bugzapper, like a parkflyer drawn to a tree, like new tennis shoes drawn to dog poop, it goes on and on. Murphy will always win!

From now on, I'm shutting the glass door in front of the fireplace when couch flying! Who would have thunk that couch flying would be so hazardous .

I'm still recollecting that horrific moment when a little flame puffed the wing .

Man thats harsh and just before bed time, never a good time for damage, good luck with the rebuild I look forward to seeing it back in the air

New wing and new rudder - Sharpied the rudder red in commemoration of the Red Tails, Tusceegee Airmen (recently watched the movie again).

Also, replaced the Plantraco 32mm prop with a PiccoZ/Havoc Heli tail prop for better thrust.
