QUESTION-

Does it have to be a Slow Stick per se? Or can it be a profile foamie of the same size and setup that you don't mind destroying?

I'd love to participate, but you guys know I'm incapable of flying anything I didn't build from scratch.

EDIT- Hope the answer's yes. I'm almost done.

Barrett, that shouldn't be a problem, if it is a foamy of similar size an power, and blends in with the spirit of the combat

Put a 2200 3S in there or you will be forced to land early (if you get that far into the flight...)

Wait-

Forced to land possibly before my plane is wrecked? Hmm... I might be on to something...

EDIT-

Remember it's a French airplane. What would it be if it didn't duck out of the fight early >_<

I'm not ready to predict a winner, but I think I know who's getting last place

Just minutes away from the maiden. With the 40 inch span, I got the feeling this thing is gonna be a dog. Or a brick. Or a paperweight. Or an anvil. Or an iron. Or a bowling ball. Or a...

Just remember, last year I landed just seconds before the last plane, and that was with a flapping wing.

SUCCESS!

It isn't every day when I ask an airplane to do loops and snap rolls on its maiden flight. I think I'll be alright come Saturday.

I really don't mind running out of battery and coming down early during the combat. I'm mostly doing this to be able to fly when the rest of AEF is grounded.

As for midairs, it took me 3-4 hours from concept to maiden. Don't get too attached.
