PFM is looking to expand into the larger scale aircraft.

Hello everyone.

First, let me thank the Ezone users for supporting my company and allowing it to grow and serve your hobby needs.

Now, onto the bread and butter of this sandwich.

We currently carry almost everything worth having in park flyer sized equipment. So, it's time to expand further into a new realm. That realm being .40-.60 sized electric aircraft.

I've got a few items in mind including the MEC Superbox (this forum's sponsor), brushless motors, controllers, props, etc.

However, as someone who's service oriented, I'm always open to suggestions as to what the end consumer really feels is needed.

In accordance to that, I'm asking for your input of what YOU want to see on the site. If you don't feel comfortable posting publicly, feel free to PM or e-mail to sales@parkflyermotors.com.

Regards,
WJ

If you will stock the Mega 22/20/2 and Superbox, I'll wait to get one from you, Bill. I'm a Hacker fan, but am open to change. How about some larger TP Lipolys. E3D and F3D sized.

Keep up the great work!

Ted,

Actually, my thoughts on Lipos were Tanic 2200 or 2600 size cells, in a 6S2 or 3P configuration.

I'm leaning toward the 2600s though. The Tanics should provide a better discharge rate than the TPs will.

Thanks for your input.

I would be interested in the 2600's, I dont really need 6s though, 4 or 5s would suit my needs better. If I went with a 6s on a B50 size, I would want the 3p for piece of mind. Thats a lot of amps for those cells anyway you slice it.

Yeah yeah, Tanics....in 5S or 6S, then I'd consider remotoring my Funtana. I'll drop a pound of weight over those roundcells.

Megas in stock.
Phoenix 60s (and soon 80s once again) in stock.
APC props up to 16" in stock
4120 AXIs on the way.
MEC Superboxes in stock.

And the most important item for me... I just got my Sig Somethin' Extra ARF, which will soon be affixed with a Mega 22/30/2, MEC Superbox, APC Thin E prop, Phoenix 80, and some wicked Lipos for a fantastic flying aircraft I don't have to clean the glow fuel from when I'm done.

I can't wait!

What about other large Megas, i.e. the 22/30/3? Also servos and receivers other than parkflyer size. -thumbs

OK,
Call me dense, but I just cant grasp exactly what is required for batteries in a large scale application like that.

If you're starting with a 4-5 pound plane, how many tons of batteries does it take to run those big motors?

FT,
I currently carry the Berg4 line, and have the Berg5 line en route. With the Berg5 line, Berg has introduced their 9-Ch expander module.

I'd like to get other manufacturer's receivers and servos as well, however the big 4 (Futaba/Hitec/Jr/Airtronics) pretty much require a Horizons or Great Planes account, and with me being an e-commerce site only, well, they won't sell to me.

As for the Megas, I can get anything you need, although it may take a week or two. As always, more favorable pricing will be given to "special order" items.

Tony,
4 thru 6 cell lipos. Generally a minimum of 4400 mAh up through 8000 mAh. Monster amps between 40-60 are the norm. Course, with a Mega 22/30/2 you can swing a 16x10 prop with a 6.0 Superbox and make nearly 10 lbs of thrust.
