I can confirm that the throttle channel is reversed and the swash setting is 120 degrees. Will post more findings when I play with it more
It'll be a pleasure if you quote my posts in your review. My point when writing that was to help people enjoy their Hisky FBL100/WLToys V922 and your reviews are quite honest and well done, you have helped a lot people like me to enjoy their helicopters.

WLToys V922, HiSky FBL100 and Turnigy FBL100 are the same helicopter they just changed the color of the canopy, fin and blades.

@Pedro, Thank you sir! This review will be completed soon and with your input, it would be so much better!

@XiaoFeiJi, Under beginner mode ("L" shows up on the screen) the controls become reversed in stunt... so that's probably why yours went crazy. I suggest that you fly in expert mode ("H") so that if you engage stunt mode by accident then the heli would still be controllable instead of reversing everything for ya'

I just took delivery of the Hisky canopy, blades and tail blade today...along with a few sets of CF booms as it certainly is the most fragile part of the helicopter.
The Fluorescent green canopy/blades look great! :P Pics coming soon!

Are there different versions of the HT8 module or is it only THIS one??

http://www.banggood.com/buy/HiSky-HT8-module.html

I am not sure which route is going to be better for me - trying to make do with the stock TX and learn to deal with the pre-set curves or trying to learn how to use the HT8 on the TX9 and then set my curves more "civilized" then the factory pre-set ...

Any recommendations?

@E2, there are 2 versions on the market...mine, the first, has no internal battery so you'll have to wire a 2s battery to it... A pain to be honest.
The 2nd version has a built in battery.. So all you need to do is to turn it on and connect it to the dsc port and it'll work.

I think since you can't buy a bnf version of the 922, try it out with the stock tx first...it's perfectly adequate for sport flying and the occasional flip or roll...and when you want to do more with it, get the HT8 module

You could also get an HiSky programmable TX for few extra bucks.
Now i'm doing my homework with the sim and i'm waiting more feedback about 9X+HT8.

I find that the throttle and cyclic sticks are too long. It can't be adjusted. Other than that, the TX is perfect!

thank you Sir. I am looking forward to receiving mine from Banggood.

Does the Tx have good "resolution"; meaning, fine control of the heli? I find that the V911 has "course" control; not very precise.

I think the stock transmitter is precise in control. It is definitely better than the toy-grade V911 transmitter.

Excellent. That was really my main concern with the V922. I'm betting I can adapt to the fixed programming of the stock Tx so I wasn't quite as worried about that part. (Although, if the HT8 proves to work with the Dx6i I would probably go that route later on)
