Variant, you may want to consider keeping your BG order. Bill and I both believe the V202 is better than the Hubsan, but that's our opinion. You may find you like it better. If you do then no harm no foul, if you don't, there's such a shortage of these things that I wouldn't be surprised if you could sell it for a profit.

We didn't want to announce that they were in stock until they were physically on hand. Customs held it for a week longer than we had expected, causing us to miss the Xmas rush.

The green props are really visible too. I'm thinking green and orange will make a good combo to help with orientation. It comes stock with green\black, but the spares are orange\black, so you can swap the blacks out for orange.

I've uploaded the product pics and put the green\orange blade combo on so you can see what I'm talking about:

Nice review MO, thanks.
How does she flies compared to the LB V1?

EDIT: disregard my question, the answer is in this video.

Thanks Kosem, James will be getting the V202 as well so he can answer that question directly. I'm pretty sure the V1 will win indoors, but outdoors I think it the V202 will give it a run for its money.

Thanks for the good news, MO. Until now, info on the V202 has been extremely limited. I wish you a Merry Christmas and continued success in the New Year for MassiveRC

Merry Christmas to you too Sirius!! I'm going to try to get some family time in and then and then make an inside video for you all to see the V202 flying a bit closer up.

So to give you the bad with the good, here are some things I've noticed:

The motor mounts aren't always mounted parallel to the boom, which can cause some drifting, which may or may not be able to be trimmed out completely.

I'll have to do some dissection to see what's causing it (left over plastic flash that wasn't removed, wire getting pinched between boom and motor mount, or simply not being mounted flush with the end and the mounting screw not finding the pre-drillled hole). If you do indoor precision flying such as landing in a small area, this could be a concern, or for beginners that need absolute hands-off hover. I never just hover, I'm always on the move, so it's not an issue for me.

Turnigy 9X compatibilty. I sympathise with wanting to reduce remote clutter, but as far as stock transmitters go, the WL Toys is my favorite as far as functionality and ease of use (but not in portability, which goes to the Hubsan). I really think WL Toys did their homework on the cyclic rate programming with the V202.

I'm not clear on two things:

1. Is the V202,compatible with the V929 or V949 tx?
2. You are going to carry green spare props, not just the orange?

The. V202 isn't. Turnigy 9X compatible. We have ample stock of the green, orange, and black props. Sorry for shortness of my reply, replying from my Razr.

I'll have to charge up some more v202 batteries, it performs better with them. Of course it's easier to do them in lower wind conditions. They're not as easy to do as flips. I have to get more practice in.

I wanted and ordered the X4 because of its ability to fly in the wind and now it looks like we may have us another option. Sweet!
