signed out every visit lately
Hi guys,
Here for the last couple days, every visit I make to rcg I have to sign in. I have "keep me logged in" checked,and havent changed any cache clearing/cookie options here, not manually anyway. Using aol 9.7, or in other words, IE  Anything goin on there that would cause this?thanks |

Could you try to log in, click "log out" and then log in again, does it help?

Ok somewhere around the first week of jan, I dont recall exactly when, this issue stopped, but as of last night its happening again, and I am not aware of any changes made on my pc. I check rc groups many times a day and its just annoying. I can leave for 5 mins and I'm signed out.

David,
First of all, there have been no updates to the site backend that manages the login code in a long, long time. So the cause for the login troubles is something else. The logged in status is stored in a browser cookie, so random logouts mean there is something wrong in that department. Could you try to clear cookies using the procedure outlined here? http://help.aol.com/help/microsites/...ternalId=10273 |

Thanks Mike, I'll take a look when I get back to my puter, away from home right now and on my wife's iPad right now. Interesting, I didn't have to sign on here....maybe every time safari is started here(on the iPad), its kicking me off my laptop...hmm

Still dunno what it was, but appears it has stopped, been over a week since I was logged out automaticly
