Defiantly not Freewing....Starmax is the most likely out of the current crop.

Well if its Starmax or Freewing then there's a chance that Hobby-Lobby could carry it....
I'd be nice to have they carry more EDFs like they used to. Before banana came along HL was the go to place for EDFs. Now, sadly, they are just a shell of what they used to be. |

Also, I like the painted canopy frame.
And I notice a wiring channel leading out near the wing tip ... and there appears to be a hole there in the leading edge. I presume lights? |

Let me talk about the installation of the PNP version. Taking it out from the box, I saw the main wing, fuselage, horizontal tail vertical tail, in 20mins , I just used 10 screws to finish the installation (4 for main wing, 2 for horizontal tail, 4 for vertical tail). Today, I took the first flight of the aircraft, very successful. Maximum current of 78 amps power of 1780 watts, 6s 4000 25c battery.

Hi!
This sounds great! Did you get any video? What was the all up weight of the aircraft? Will the fan and motor tolerate 8S? Still ready yo learn more and buy one of these just as soon as possible! How did the landing gear react? Flying off grass or tarmac? |

It certainly looks great! I also forgot to ask about the electronics. Does it come with some sort of board containing the reciever? That's what it looks like. If so, which radio would we use? Futaba, I hope.
Thanks for posting this video. Several of us are ready to buy as soon as possible. Can you say yet who will sell in USA, or is it to be bought direct from China?? |
