Yippee!
Offroad Alpen Cup 2013

In 2013 the usual 3 venues are planned:

1st race: Germany, EOC Edling
http://www.eoc-edling.de/
22.-23. June

2nd race: Austria, Fehring
http://www.wmw-fehring.at/
17.-18. August

3rd race: Italy, Abbiategrasso
http://www.cascinaselva.it/
presumably in September

Rules will be the same as for the last years:
- Bring your Cross-Bike!

(a detailed set of rules will be available from the rcracepro website, but in essence it is the sentence above)

Here is an overview of the Tracks

The entry form can be found here:
Entryform at rcracepro

If you have any questions, feel free to ask them in this thread.

That's a huge YES from me and the DDT_Ninja.

I'll be there even if I have to walk (though if that is the case I had better set off around mid May ).

For me it'll be difficult but no problem do it if there are new competitors from new countries!

I'd like to have Cascina Selva in Spring, let's say May, is it workable?

Ciao

Dragging the thread slightly off topic...

Out of curiosity, what are the laptime differences between 1/5 and 1/4?

I'm taking both, but would really like to do 1/5 (the ninja deserves it and I do have a soft spot for the M5), though I'll likely decide on the saturday which bike I can hustle around the best, is that possible?

So far, no one used an M5 at Fehring with a transponder, at least not when I was there..

Trying both and using the one that still works on sunday.. err, the one that handles better seems a good option

I take the hint I could be breaking a few parts then?

I'll bring a dustpan and brush to clear up my mess!

Will there be any parts support there, or should I just bring as many spares as possible?

Thanks for the information Bernhard.

Don't worry about the dustpan and brush, they do have a small road roller to smooth out the track

rcracepro will be there, but I'm not sure if he still has lots of M5 parts. I can ask!
ARx parts will be available for sure.
Venom/Atomik parts are definitely a problem.

2nd Round (Fehring) has been cancelled due to low starter numbers.

I was curious if the event had enough energy to survive a world championship scheduled so close. I guess losing to another bike event is better than losing to a buggy event scheduled. Maybe if round 1 was in June and round 2 in July it might have worked out.
