The fuse panels have been mocked up. Tomorrow I will cut them out of the aluminum.

The aluminum panels are made. I made them 1/8" oversize so that when the screws come in and I can screw them in place, I can trim them to fit best.

You made short-order of that. What's the thickness of the aluminum?

The thimbles and cable came this morning. And that was the earliest the mailman has ever came. Woo Hoo!
The elevator and rudder have been hooked up and adjusted with endpoints set.
The fuse is ready for final sanding and covering, but will wait until I install the interior. I won't do that untill the panel gets here.

The framework for the door and the door are made. I will cut the servo arm slot in the morning. Hard to cut outside when it's dark.
And you may notice the ailerons have been cut out and the L/T edges have been applied. So they will get finished tomorrow as well.
And sheeted around the strut mount for covering to have something to bite to.

Got a nice one for ya'll. I have this old house that I lived in many moons ago. It has been rented, leased and now has been sold. Well sorta, I'm the lender. LOL My middle son bought it, say's it's still home because that is where he grew up. Well, today he comes over and gives me this item. This is probably the first homemade tool I ever made. Can anyone guess what it is? A hint: Many moons ago I built scale plastic models.

I had a sabre saw with a rubber hose attached to a 'fake blade'. I slid the bottle into the hose and clamped it tight...Man that thing would get deposits off the bottom of the jar.!

Paint can mixer?
