Yes (see picture). I've also tried opposite to numbers, just in case
The rightmost dip has no function according to the manual sheet...

When I last talked to Walkera they said their 5.8 system is running on band B. So technically its slightly different frequencies than the rc503 runs on. That explains when you can't get a clear image. The frequency might get close enough to see an image, but thats all. Unfortunately I don't have a way to check exactly what frequency for each channel is.

Ok, thanks a lot for this explanation, Tony!

By googling that "5.8 band b" I have just learned about , I came back here with this thread.... I get what's written on the first page, but the modifying discussions that follow are far beyond my understanding 8-)

Googling didn't help me though to find any 5.8 vRX working on band B sold online... Hints are very welcome

Yes, But the video transmitter you used earlier was not a Walkera, It looked to be the same as Boscams 600mw 5.8 Vtx and if the F7 received video from it then the appropriate video receiver for the Boscam video transmitter (RC305) should work. You said the F7 was on channel 1/8 and the Vtx was on 5645mhz, So put the F7 on channel 2/8 and cycle through the 600mw video transmitters channels and if one works note the frequency and move on to the next, 3/8, 4/8 and so on.

If you mean a link for the TX5805 then you just need to see my post 1 whole page before this one, Post #75.

almost all 5.8g operates in the "B" band that's what "B" band is, 5.8g overlaps into "C" band as well. Here's link to a chart of almost all usable frequencies and the band they fall in. You'll have to click on the picture to enlarge it. And yes the RC305 is also in the "B" band.

Thanks for the link!
I'm discovering all this and having a hard time understanding it! 8-)
So the A / B / E bands we're talking about are misuses of language. Most receivers operate across bands but with fixed frequencies, from 1 to 32, usually 4 or 8. Those frequencies are labelled A / B / E / Airwave as in the Blacksheep page.
Am I correct?

It does _not_ work with _any_ receiver, you'll need one with a 5.8 GHz "B" to get the video...

I've received the walkera fpv module last week. It uses Boscam A bands.. I could test all the frequencies with the TBS fatshark 5.8 rx, it covers all available freq.
Channel mapping is the same. Ch1 5865, etc...

Quick reminder:

  BOSCAM A BOSCAM B BOSCAM E Airwave
Ch1: 5865 MHz 5733 MHz 5705 MHz 5740 MHz
Ch2: 5845 MHz 5752 MHz 5685 MHz 5760 MHz
Ch3: 5825 MHz 5771 MHz 5665 MHz 5780 MHz
Ch4: 5805 MHz 5790 MHz 5645 MHz 5800 MHz
Ch5: 5785 MHz 5809 MHz 5885 MHz 5820 MHz
Ch6: 5765 MHz 5828 MHz 5905 MHz 5840 MHz
Ch7: 5745 MHz 5847 MHz 5925 MHz 5860 MHz
Ch8: 5725 MHz 5866 MHz 5945 MHz 5860 MHz
