I'm not ready with the build yet but I will use the T-Motor despite the slight weight penalty.
I've just arrived home from three hours of indoor flying with the Crack Yak Lite. It has been amazing!

Thanks for your fantastic work with the manual! It's making the plane a joy to build.
Thanks Stark, it you (or anyone) sees something that need to be tweaked, please let me know either here or via PM.

When you do get to use the T-Motor let me know your thoughts on it. It might be a good choice for a project I have for later.

Let the building begin. Think two is enough?

I was reading the build PDA, and was curious about the battery placement...do we cut a slot for battery, or just Velcro?

You could use either way. I started using velcro, now after my first Yak I perfer the slot when possible. Once I get hold of my mini I'll decide on how I want the battery. Since I might be playing with different size batts I might go velcro.

Ha. I'm not too far either, a bit further than you, but from time to time I drive through Jersey and gaze into the horizon wondering where TH is...

Hmmmm... colored servo horns, motor mount, etc...

Did they come that way or did you do my favorite technique and hit them with a Sharpie marker?
