What if if crashes? 24,000 crash , can buy lots of nice birds with half of that money with a trairer to haul them any where, Unless some one crazy enough is whiling to pay 24gs for that bird I think they better put it in the crates to keep her off the dust.

Might be cheaper to buy a full-size one and convert it over to R/C

I saw this bird a couple years ago at Bomber Field. I did not see it fly, but it was an impressive model.

Pecor thanks for fixing the link. Am I bidding? Heck no. Unless I won the lottery last night. But I think maybe 8 k would be a better price. I understand he probally has a million hours in it. But you have to be realistic when selling something like that. You never get what you put into it back. Besides I dont like the orange on it.

He's looking for a collector with a price tag like that... There's a reason it hasn't flown and is being sold, as I don't think BB weber has never not flown an airplane he's built. It may be worth $24,000 with all the new stuff (there's $10k in radials in it, probably another $3k in landing gear and another $3k in radio gear), but for someone looking to actually fly the thing, it'd worth about 1/3 of his starting price... again, a collector with money to burn who REALLY wants it, will scarf it up and get it.. but for the average modeler....
