Looking for cheap 3D ARF

Hi all, as the title says, I am looking for a cheap ARF plane that can do 3D aerobatics. Full fuse or profile are both fine, but I dont want it to be wood (balsa), just some type of foam. It would be great if it would fit a 24 gram motor from Hobbyking, Red Brick 10 amp ESC, Turnigy 9 gram servos, 2s or 3s batts from 370mah - 500mah. If the batt doesnt fit well, thats fine but I would like the others to be able to be used, since I already have them. Now heres the catch: I would like it to be as cheap as possible, around 40 to 50 dollars would be great. Thanks

Looks like a great plane, may try it sometime......for a birthday gift maybe, because I already have stuff for Christmas. I admit though, I had an EPP plane in mind, but this is great! Thanks.

Very good links, Buzz, one question though - about how fast is nitroplane's average shipping? I usually get stuff from HK in one or two months; a pretty long time, have you had experience with Nitroplanes? Also how much is shipping? Thanks

Well the links to HK are the USA warehouse so you should get it in a couple weeks. Nitro, for me, if I order it on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, I get it Wednesday or Thursday. I am only a couple zip codes away. My orders have shipped out in a couple days then it is all up to UPS after that.

Galaxy flies very, very slow. It hangs on the gentle morning breeze. I also have the Tristania. It is a fun plane.

Well the ones from HK come with the motor, nitro's are the foam, carbon and plastic parts.

The Galaxy and the Malibu are the same plane, the Tristania and the Spirit are the same plane. They just have different graphics. For more out door flying the Tristania and the Piaget are a little bit heavier. Mine came in at 8.5 ounces. The Galaxy was 6.5.

All of them hang on a the prop. With just a slight breeze, you can fly them with no forward movement.

One thing i have noticed with the shipping, if I get one it is say $12.00, but if i get (2) planes it is $15.00, so, you should order (2) to save on shipping. That is what I did from HK. I ordered (3) and had free shipping, so that saved me the $10.00 each if I bought one so I saved $30.00, that is like getting one for free

Get all 3 and be done with it .

The Galaxy is a little bit lighter, made from a stiffer foam. If you do a slow fly by and breath real hard, you can get it to hover.

I do like the way the Tristania and Piaget are the flexy foam and can do inverted landing and not break anything.

Each is a nice plane in its own right. So, you will have to get all 3 to be satisfied .
