No mate the tenshock has plenty & i still have not turned the power up in the esc yet, just curious if he was running 3s on the gyro as it would be spinning a lot faster.

Yea even more stability although getting it to turn well may be an issue. If you want more after you turn it up just gear up a little more. Doesn't sweat pulling a 13 anywhere and I'm sure it would pull more easily for an insane speed run lol.

It's not for the vmx mate that is perfect the way it is the other one i think needs to spin faster.

I have just about lost hope of my pinions turning up i sent them an email i have to wait until it has been 45 day's before i can lodge a lost parcel claim.

For those chasing more grip and consistent handling on the slippery dry hardpacked broken up dirt and also better bad jump landings this is the insert I use. The bike can be pushed harder into the corners and also has more grip coming through and out of them meaning you can really put the power down well even when its super slippery.
It's made of the foam from ideally a Losi ( this one is proline and does work although softer and shorter lifespan ) stadium truck cut with scissors both ways and glued with contact adhesive.

This is installed into a slightly cut ( also with scissors ) and super glued front tyre which is mounted onto the plastic ring.

Looking like this. This forms the inner tube, I then work the tyre over the top using the same technique as a big bike tyre being fitted. Some baby powder helps the tyre slip into place. The foam in this insert will last me 4 or 5 tyres worth and the cut down front will last forever virtually. This is my favourite insert for rough and dry slick conditions.

Everything has to be made as well as possible and cut straight and evenly. Also glued evenly. Be as careful as you can to make it as straight and wobble free as possible.
I have one made up with a 1/5 HPI front insert cut to fit but have yet to try it. This insert is quite a bit harder and also taller and more rounded than the 1/10th foams so may be more suited to a more grippy or loamy surface.

By the way don't use a new tyre. Wait until you replace the front and use the old worn one. I have tried a SM front and it worked but not as well.

Here's a Losi foam I made up today. This one came out of a used tyre but will still work well for quite some time.

This one has done its job and lasted a long time. Occasionally they need re gluing, you can check this when changing tyres over. This one has come unglued at one end and almost at the other, once they are to this point there isn't much good gluing again. The foam is quite deteriorated but not like the way the std foam falls apart.

Here's a couple of vids of the MM from someone who just got one. The first one has the std optional alloy shock. The second vid has a Hot Bodies big bore set up as described here.

See what you guys think.
First std shock

While Im here, Chris, do you mind if I put up your steps for the front brake?
