Electric motor
Hello I am new to this forum and to electric motors. How does one find out what size and type of motor goes with which plain?
Also I have a Carl Goldberg 550 Turbo 7.2V motor. Can't remember where I got it but what sort of plain will it work on? Thanks for the help |

Set the Wayback Machine... Mr Peabody!
That motor 'fits' in a Carl Goldberg Gentle Lady 2 meter Powered glider. Where it worked passably (not great tho) using a 7.2v Nicad Bat pack and a Brushed controller. Suggest perusing HobbyKing.com and hunt up a new : Bl motor, esc and battery(s) cheaper easier..Far.. better performing/rewarding as well. |

The Kv is 2528Kv, Io = 2A, Rm = 0.085 ohms, 25A max current.
Goldberg Turbo 550: 9.3oz, 10-cells, 2.5:1 ratio, 10x7 prop, 25.5A, 73% efficiency: free in Goldberg kits, $16.50 gearbox If HK eventually get it off backorder... this would be a good substitute: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...ner_Motor.html |
