Tom,

...Except where they say it is the smallest gas two-stroke available...

The NGH 9cc is smaller and cheaper.

Both look interesting. I'm down to just two 4 stroke glow engines, and would like to get away from them entirely. Not having an LHS within a hundred mile/162km radius make glow fuel an expensive nuisance.
Nice to see both of you back on the forums

Very interesting. I guess we need to wait until they get some in before we can get it though.
The suspense will mount as to whether it is vaporware or not.
From the information it doesn't have a fuel pump/regulator unit. Looks like a conventional setup with muffler pressure.

Well we do say available....

It's an error. When in stock the NGH is obviously a fraction smaller in displacement.

Please note that the NGH will not turn as large a prop, requires an external fuel pump, and has a large format ignition unit that needs a regulator to run 2S LiPo.

The Evolution 10cc will be available at your LHS, and be backed by the usual Horizon support and service. And they're in stock.

Craig

The manual looks interesting. The carb has a pump in it. The Horizon site offers preorder only. hopefully these are made by Sanye, not NGH.

I agree with Greg on this.

The diaphragm pump of the NGH is external (unlike the internal one on the Evo), but it does come with that engine.

Neither of these two engines has a needle bearing con-rod, which goes without saying on virtually all larger gas engines.

The Evo is ABC and the NGH has a ringed piston.

I see the CDI for the Evo has in input rating of 4.8V-8.4V. That's cool!
I may just have to do one of these.

The manual states otherwise?

The engine uses a bushed rod, The instructions state to use a 20:1 ratio for the fuel to use in the engine.
