RC Drag Bike

Guys - new to this forum but have had quite a few rc cars over the years. I am finding it really hard to find a 1/8th drag bike out there . There was some one called Rob from Shred X RC who used to make bike but I have no luck in finding him. Can any one assist me - thanks

Shredder X disappeared a few years ago, though the bikes do occasionaly pop up for sale.

New Era made one too, though it would appear to be long out of production. http://neweramodels.mybigcommerce.com/

Here is a brief thread about the bike with a piccie.

Beyond that, I think it will down to the shed to make your own, or adapt a production bike to suit.

Don't forget that you are also in Oz biker territory.

If nothing else, go see Scaulfi and the lads. They can offer you more information than can be easily digested via a forum.

Their racing thread is here.

fossil056, contact scaulfi on the Australian thread. He has built at least one drag bike that i know of and has been working on a larger one for a while also. Might be able to give you a few tips on design etc.
BTW, he is up there in Brisbane also.
