The only way to fit fans that large would be to enlarge the nacelles to the point that the plane would no longer be scale.

The Jumping Bean in the video is using the Rx and motor from a UMX Stryker and four HK5330 servos. However most combinations of UMX gear will work.

Glue the rudders into position on top of the wing. Cant them out at a slight angle.

The CG should be set about 2" back from where the wing leading edge meets the forward wing strakes.

On the first flights I used two 200mah 2s E Flight lipos, one feeding each Rx. I am now using a 500mah Hyperion 2s pack custom made by rcbabble with two output leads so both systems can run on one source keeping power levels equal to both fans. This system consumes 100mah per minuite at WOT. Four minuite flights leave the batt at the 80% discharge point recommended as max for best battery life.

Enjoy

Winner

The MiG-29 was just announced as the winner of the Dec 2012 Foam Tac build contest. I am honored to receive this award and would like to Thank Eric G and Beacon for thier support of this great hobby.

Going to be building my own Mig 29 very soon. I'm planning to try the hyperflow motor in the eflite fan on 3s and see what i get, since money is limited and i have a spare motor already. Will order the servos this week and should be ready to build it by early next week Thanks again John

Hi Ace

What do you plan on doing about ESCs ? The MiG-15 boards can be iffy on 3s with the standard motors and space inside the fuse is limited.
