Ok problem number 1. Is anyone using a wfly wft07 Tx with the wfr07 receiver? Can't seem to get them coded the manual is not much use.

I've got the yellow light flashing on the receiver but what's the next step?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks chaps, sorry for the delay in replying got roped into putting the Christmas decorations up (does my mrs not know what's important!) thanks AF for the video, slightly different to the set up I have but I'll try turning the tx unit off and on again, it makes no mention of that in the manual, will post back later after I untangle myself from all this tinsel.

I-Fly 4-s Setup - Part 1

I can tell already this is going to be a LONG weekend.. LoL!!

Well Jonathan & forum gentlemen..
Here I am, done with the unpacking;
Figured out how to attach the legs.. Im not going to mess with the camera gimbal just yet;
Everything that was in the box is laid out on the table;

1st Question..
I watched your video Jonathan.. thanks for posting it, except what is shown is not what I received.
I went to look at the I-Fly 4 videos I had seen and it seems that you have to connect the ifly to a pc - with a USB cable?

IFLY 4 first fly install video (4 min 6 sec)

What cable is it, I didnt receive any USB cable (see picture)

Then.. the radio;
There is that little module.. ok, what am I supposed to do with it?
I didnt see anywhere on the ifly or on the radio where to connect it.. ?
That cable in the plastic bag plugs into the back of the radio I think, but I have no connector of any kind where to plug it in ?

Remember, I am so NEW to all this I have no idea what to do next, sorry.

I've got it plugged in via USB to the computer and with tx power off i have a red light on the reciever, turn on the tx and the light on the reciever goes out, in the manual I now have to go to advanced settings on the Tx then coding then press and hold set on the receiver to get flashing orange light it doesn't tell me what to do next the LCD on the Tx just goes back to the advanced menu again, turn Tx off and on again then I have no light on the receiver but the RF light on the Tx is now solid blue.

I now open ifly tools to calibrate in remote control and I get nothing.

Thanks AF got all that on the disk and have followed it to the letter but it doesn't tell you how you know that the coding process was successful or not.

You can set level in ifly tools but nothing on the Tx is showing moving when you move the stcks to calibrate it.

For all I know coding may have been successful but I've no way of knowing.

Thanks for your help.

Sorry to hear you guys are having trouble setting up your new 4`s`s

If Aerial Filming is willing to send me one for free I would be happy to do a video for the complete newbie from opening the box to first flight.

MJS88 you need to supply your own mini USB cable to connect the FC to your computer..... usually people have them lying around because they are so common for cameras and such.

Here is what they look like
