Spectacular work Mark, you have a real winner on your hands! I really like how you did the spinner- lots of good engineering there . Best wishes on her maiden.

Thanks guys. Means a lot.
I think when its all done I'll sit back and look at her and decide if she goes for a trip
I'm making a jig fixture now for cutting exhaust from tubing. That'll be the last of the building, then just the finishing touches....

Well, I musta miscalulated on the stacks they came out a tad too long. I doubt anyone will catch that though. I could tear them off and redo the whole thing...

I would not recommend doing any weathering on this one...

A real piece of beauty.

Exhausts look good to me. Excellent work, Mark. I like the chrome trophy look, when we work on the real ones we wish they were that perfect!

Just needs panels and rivets, maybe some exhaust staining....

Thanks for the compliments guys!
Oh, and yes, she will fly! I try not to get too attached to each model, half the fun is the building, the other the flying and figuring things out.

For lines it's a little pointy aluminum medical tool, and for rivets, I am using a pounce wheel and a dressmakers wheel....

I'm learning what mistakes to NOT make on the bottom, since 99% of people never see it
