Looks like a haoye shaft adapter will fit similar to 70mm rotors...
If this is the case then one can use the 3.2mm, 4 and 5mm shaft adapters for many motors inside the 80mm elfight fan.. Getting 2 just to experiment... I saw some spinners on ParkRcModels.com for 90mm Wonder of those will fit. If not Hoaye has some 8mm plastic and metal ones that used to work... Gotta dig in my fan stash |

Link to CS version IF you click on the 90mm MBS New Link you will see that it says one piece: Link to MBS version You are only looking at the tiny thumbnail pictures. Most all of our product listings open up to a full page of information. Hope this helps Max www.parkrcmodels.com www.skyartec-usa.com |

O.K. Pilots, "I'm your HuckleBerry". Ordered the 1 piece rotor, 5mm adaptor, spinner from our man @ "parkrcmodels". I'm going to attempt to install it in a C.S. shroud and "pull the pin". 8s/120A esc/1400kv= Excitement....(or E.R. visit...) I'm building a bullt-proof test stand, as we speak. If that don't work, I guess I'll make it a L-39 "Slope-flyer" LOL...

Confirmed that the hoaye 3.17, 4mm and 5mm shaft adapters fit fine and pretty tight.
Old haoye 90mm spinner might work but RClander 90mm spinner no doubt fits snug Yeap, that means you can shave the rotor down to 80mm and it'll work with your eflight 2150 motor. Anyone know the best way to shave down this rotor to 80mm IIRC just measure and cut a mm more than what's needed and run the rotor lightly against some 120-ish sand paper.. thx in advance for any input |

erh7771,
Resizing these isnt hard. Just make an contraption that hold the rotor on center. Example a wooden dowel in a flat piece of stock. Now take the contraption to a disc sander, clamp it down so that it barely touching the sander. Then rotate /spin the rotor while the sander is on. Gently decrease the distance to the sander, while rotating and in no time you have a trimmed true rotor. |

shaft adapters which fit, possible spinner w/ sanding
erh7771, I don't know which Haoye adapters you are referring to (maybe for the 3 inch fan?).
Got my single piece rotors today, seems fine quality (Lander), a bit of static imbalance but not as bad as the 70mm Lander 10-blade rotors. BUT the adpater really needs to be 8mm - exactly the same as the 70mm CS and Lander adapters. For 5mm motor shaft, the adapters of the 6-blade Starmax Midi Clone fans work as well, just tried that. The Haoye adapters for their 90mm 7-bladers don't fit, they are just a biit too wide, bummer because with all the FlyFly models there are plenty of those fans around :-) The shroud fits though, only the length is a tiny bit short, maybe sandind the base a bit to prevent it from rubbing on the shroud. There should be a gap for air circulation through the motor though. But one possible good news: The Haoye 90mm 7-blade spnnner ALMOST fits,it's a bit too tight, but very little sanding required. I'll walk to the hobby shop some time and have a look at the quality WeMoTec items, maybe the Midi fan adapters work, and they should run true cheers Clemens |
