Completed wing with sheeted aileron. I found a new source for sheet aluminum .005 thick roll 12 inches by 3 feet so the sheeting has now become way easier and quicker .I also replaced any tape I had on the plane because you could see the foam beading through it after scotch briting the surface .The second pic I took on an angle with a light shining from the side so it looks a lot more pronounced and there are still a couple of pen lines to half scuff off .

If this was done on a fiberglass wing , it wouldn't look nearly as lumpy .With the foam you pretty much have to crimp in the edges of the sheeting a bit so you don't have sharp edges coming loose. I'm going to sheet my Mig21 wing like this , but it's glassed balsa over foam core and the aluminum sheets will sit much flatter .This plane is practise sheeting for my Mig Wing .Still going to fly this though . Thinking of toying with a functional intake splitter plate to adjust the intake volume with the dial knob on my Radio .I sure hope my Futaba Fast 7 will get it 's signal through this sheeting .

Always go to the antenna trailing behind the plane. Or better. String it from the top of the vertical stabilizer to the cockpit area. The excess can be neatly coiled up in the cockpit.

A full distance range check with 2 cell phones is mandatory for metal & Carbon Fibre planes.

My Futaba is a 2.4 ghz with a couple of 3 inch antennas . From what I've read the FASST systems are more reliable than the JR spectrum 2.4s .But definitely will range check .
