more food for thought you didnt want

ed is member on rc groups. this is his diy version of our wild hawk. his parts list would apply to our plane. you would have to fab a motor mount. easy to do with some balsa or hobby plywood and glue of your choice.

I sure like some of his 'simple' airplanes and am going to build one in the near? future.

Have not had a chance in the last week to fly.
I have 3 planes ready now - the champ, the SU-26 and my newest plane the Mini Super Cub. Probably won't get chance to fly until next week.

little wind today

flew 2 batts late morning and it was a little bit windy/gusty (10 mph +/-). we have a front moving in and supposed to get a little rain and snow. decided not to push my luck and packed it up while the plane was in one piece. My plane is still not dialed in on cg. if it is calm out you you can just trim it out and get a reasonable flight. it was more noticeable in the wind today! My two batteries are not the same , in shape or weight, and dont make it any easier to keep the cg correct.

I did find some 25 amp brushed esc on ebay for aobut $15 shipped. the even have the little safety button on them for motor, but no on/off switch. I may be ordering some electronics for my scratch builds in the near future and throw a couple 30 A esc in the cart as they do not change the shipping cost buy much. If i do, i will let you know and send one for cost and actual shipping.
