One can will do 2 planes maybe 3 if you are not to worried about a glass smooth surface. But you have to shoot them all at the same time. Once you catalize the can of clear you have to use it or it will harden in the can.

He did 3 planes; question is how many cans.
1 can will do a motorcycle tank and sidecovers. 1st coat light and let it flash then wet top coat.
It is VERY toxic stuff as are all urethanes and protective gear is mandatory, unless you have a death wish.
Durable paint too.
You can order online and get it it gloss or satin. They can also put regular car paint of any color in the same kind of can (not 2 part urethane) urethane clear is only needed on top coat. Very easy to use and does not react with most underlying paints. Paint friendly for enamels, lacquers, acryllics, epoxy, etc.

Thanks again, I'll have to try it next time. I sanded with 1000 and resprayed and no issues this time, other than orange peel and patchiness, because I suck at painting.

Wet sand it with 1500 to 2000 and then shoot another coat of clear or wax it up after the "color sanding" the clear coat.

The stuff that some call "Death Paint"?

If you don't use pretty good protective gear, it will make you very sick ... possibly not dead in the short term

I doubt the clear added much weight. I think it was 72oz.

I don't really care where we fly as long as we can get a good group together, I like fermin, 10 zephyrs there could be tight, bluff plenty of room but 67oz and up means we need at least 18mph so we are not scrubbing the deck.
