Urethane Foam -- Wing Repair Kit
Very hard to find small amounts. Kit is 2 oz of each A and B. #2 density
Care must be taken since this stuff expands a great deal. Finishes to a very light weight hard surface. $14 delivered (check. MO, cash) paypal@adesigner.com ($15 regular PP) Pictures show 1/16" of each in bottom of Dixi cup. email: tom@blueridgesoaring.org with questions. |

OK, here is my dilema. The skin on the top and bottom of the root section have sheared. I tacked them with CA. The spar is fine but I'm still going to put either CF or FG or some combination there of.
The tip is mush. The Rohecell foam on the inside is torn and shredded. I think I'll put some fiberglass on the bottom to give it some strength and then pour the foam into the hole in the top of the wing. I'll have more photos as things progress. George |
