Well Denver did put words in my mouth. Before I edited it I said rtf's not arf's.

I like to build the occasional kit but they are very time consuming. And there's nothing quite like the feeling of augering in a 6 month kit and the biggest piece left is the tail wheel. So yes arf's are pretty much the way to go.

I love the foam planes too. Plus it's alot less stressful to crash a $200 foamy instead of a $1000+ balsa model. And they survive better. As the technoloy improves I would expect arf balsa's to be a thing of the past or rare.

I think that you should really have to screw up badly to get reported in this section. From what I see the regulars here kinda feed off of each other.

Seriously, I thought the whole point of this section was to discuss or debate anything. As long as there is no profanity used what's the harm?

My thoughts are even if there's a flame war or two people go at each other, at least it's done down here as opposed to elsewhere on the site. I mean isn't this supposed to be the outlet for this type of randomness?

I've been on this forum since 99, and it is, indeed, fun. It can be contentious, and people do have thin skin, but I enjoy it here.
