Turnigy DST-1200 - Built by one armed Monkeys

Just wanted to show motor differences between 2 versions of the same Turnigy motor. The one on the left is the new version and old one is on the right. With a 10 inch prop the old one would pull around 21 amps the new one pulls 28 amps. This ended up costing me a plane and some hardware. Never take anything you buy from hobby king at face value. TEST EVERYTHING!!!!

BTW... Can you tell what one was put together by one armed monkeys?

Hi
I think part of the problem is the silver color connectors. Desolder and put on gold plated.
Otherwise the wiring looks better on right one. I agree HK is a bit suckie. I buy all I can from http://www.headsuprc.com/servlet/StoreFront they are fast and so far so good. 2 dollars shipping

Hi, how did you remove the mounting disc from the motor? Did you use a hex key to remove the 2 screws on it?
