Wind alert posted by NWS, sensors aproaching 60mph near Parker. Could be a record day up there on Weds.

Its blowing about 18 or 20 at the house. Probably at least twice that up on Parker. Bring warm clothes its really cold!

Well I've got a ~60oz Fat Albert 60" that I plan to be maidening at Parker... seems like lots of North in the forecast, which is typical of the winds we get this time of year in Santa Barbara too...

I hit it today(wed)Flew front side about 150 yds past Bruce's parking spot after work(5 min from hill).Bruce was at the saddle but didn't see him. Will be there tomorrow after 330pm+

Parker can be good all day.
Today was blowing about 35 and pretty smooth on the back side we got there about 2 in the afternoon. Bruce, Alan, Joe M.,Parker Bob, Joe-LVSloper, Tim and John P. we're there today. Top speed was mid 320s or something like that. most seeds were about 17O to 310mph. Planes that were flying were Kinetic 100, carbon sunbirds, D-80, D-60, Vector DS, JW, SOS and Johns custom wing. |
