It isn't that easy to use a 808 on that size
Do you know the weight of one so I can see if it can carry it before I order one?

I've read about it other user having the same problem.
Is it the only microquad you have ?
If you have a v911 / v929 /v939 or a 9X transmitter, you simply can use another Flightcontroller on the UDI frame.

Following works (I'm only flying hybrids with these boards):

Vitality H36 board (needs soldering/no plugs)

WL Toys v939 board (100% fit / no modifications)

HCW553 (same as Vitality Board) board

It's the only one I own and my mom was mad at me for buying it so I don't think I can get another one. Should've got a Traxxas....

I can fly it fine outside, but I wish I could tell which way it's facing

Maybe I just got lucky, mine flys incredibly! On mode one I can hands free hover all day indoors. On Mode two outside the thing won't quit! Even in 15-20 mph wind. I have a Ladybird and a G-Maxtec and the U816 will outfly and out handle either of them.

Stock props suck. Get some ladybird ones or some other micros. And make sure they are balanced.

Well, looking better at mine, one of the carbon fiber arms is completely split from end to end. Since carbon fiber is so darn expensive, I was wondering if the guts would fit a Hubsan X4 frame. Is this completely stupid? It costs a bit less than a new arm (very tight budget), and I like the looks of an X4 much better. Has anyone tried this?

Is $3.20 really expensive for a complete motorarm?

Oh. I didn't see that one. All I found was upwards of $5

But I still want to know, out of curiosity, and for future reference.

Hi i,
Try to rub some CA into the CF arm crack. It will be a temp fix until you source a new arm.

The 25mm x 25mm U816 flight controller is a couple of mm wider than the X4 flight controller and body. So it will not fit without a cut out mod that would likely weaken the X4 body. And even when you get it to fit, the smaller motor to motor diameter might be a problem for the code in the U816 flight controller and you would have some oscillations and instability. You are welcome to test all this of course

Cheers,
Jim
