OK so is it only me that thinks the decals are rubbish.....!, going to cut some in vinyl on my plotter/cutter, if anybody likes them I could send some (SAE) foc.

I just slipped a few of the decals on mine and was thinking they looked pretty good. I was expecting crappier looking stickers.

If yours come out cool, though, Id take some!

Mine just seem to distort...may not be letting them get wet enough, but if my 'alternative' decals look good you can of course have some, (designing them at this very moment)

Yeah, ruined the first 2 that way, didn't wait long enough and left some letters behind. 2nd two I waited a few minutes for pre soaking and they floated right over and look pretty good.

Any chance I can commission a couple custom decals?

4-5 days EMS shipping .
the cheap aluminum version doesn't seem to be attractive,
no folding landing gear, and the aluminum tube could soon be scratched or even broken at the lock piece.

nearly went for that one by mistake on ebay, wondered why it was cheaper than the others!! and 100g heavier I think!, the difference in price as well.......I paid £89 for mine but some are asking £149 for exactly the same thing.

had a go at designing my own decals!! of course there is no font like that so had to edit node by node a font that looked the best/easiest to mod, this is the very first attempt. I mirrored and flipped the word so as to make it a 'one go' application.
I think it needs a bit less height in the word and to come down a bit more from the centre line at the top. The orange vinyl that I had lying around seems to go well with the front e/mounts, will prob do the other 4 in a mid or light blue, might also do the others smaller to aid orientation.

That looks pretty good! and adding the color coding to match the aluminum and aid orientation is a great idea.

Thanks!, have been refining the artwork and should look even better (radiusing the 3 lines both sides of the lettering)
