Flying around. Even after the battery alarm sounds It still has plenty of power. I'm using those nano tech batteries. They get warm but no swelling what so ever. I do push em to there limits I admit that. With this hexa it fly's so much better than my qav500. That quad, soon as the alarm sounded it would drop out of the sky. The 680 still fly's and with longer flight times. I have sucked out 4100mah out of one of the 4s and it didn't faze it. I've flown the 680 enough times now to trust the alarm and my time on the transmitter. Soon as I add more weight Im sure my times will differ.

That azzhole from uavobjects.com canceled my preorder on a rctimer gimbal I just found out. I figured I would give him a second chance to take my money. I was wrong again with him. If he doesn't want to take my cash and doesn't like me he should take me off his mailing list. I guess I'm just a number to him...And who the heck uses a brick for a gimbal test. The guy even looks like a azzhole in his video. Go figure... Sorry for the rant but needed to vent somewhere..

Taking more than 80% out of your lipo will damage the chemistry of the lipo. Don`t be thinking its not bothered by it, the damage has already been done now. The lipo`s will start getting worse and worse each cycle. Just because it puts the same mah back in doesn't mean its fine still.

What about 4006 motors? They are significantly lighter but might do the job...

I bet I have 15 to 20 charges on them with no problems yet. My 3300mah started to swell a little on the qav500 but it's still going strong. Back when thunderpower lipos were the sh! t the best lipo available at the time. I had issues with them swelling. With these newer lipo's out now they seem to be much better.

Im waiting on a zippy lipo brand to get here. I'm curious to see if its up to par with the nanotech's. I will continue to run them as I am. Even if I just get 50 cycles out of a lipo I'm satisfied.

I made up a parallel deans conector last night. I'm going to run two 4s friday when I'm off work and see what happens. I have a good feeling about it. I will let you guys know the outcome.

I know there are calculators to determine fight times with different weights and prop sizes and so on. But real world testing wins every time. Trial and err has always worked best for me.

19-20cm diameter depending where you measure since it is not a perfect circle.

Checking out the cheap landing gear. 200 grams lighter than the quadframe gear but still strong enough for my 2656 gram flight weight.

You can fly more than 15 min with this setup.

add additional 1.48GPB x 12, u can get EZO bearing which make this motor superb. =D

Will the sunnysky 2216 800kv work with this frame using 4s? I'll be carrying gopro brushless gimbal. Not sure what would be the AUW but i'm flying 2.9kg on F550 frame.

Wow, so these motors: AX2810Q

Seem pretty damn good. 10Ah and over 15min??
That's amazing. I only get 8:39min out of my 6600mAh and 2.7kg.

What is your weight?
