MJX X200 with 808 - #16 Camera Onboard Video

Flying in a field near my home... I really love this quad!!

MJX X200 with 808 #16 Keychain Cam - Wide Angle 'D' Lens (3 min 19 sec)

Enjoy!

P.S. The manual says you can "...program the throttle curves..." has anyone even come close to figuring that out yet??

My copy of the (english) manual that I downloaded from mjxtoys.com does not mention anything about throttle curves? Where did you see that?

It does tell you how to switch the throttle from left stick to right stick. And of course you have the throttle limit dial, and three rates, but that's about all I can see.

ps: How does the tendancy to 'wobble' at center cyclic stick affect your outdoor flight? We have a lot of wet snow on the ground so I only hover around indoors at this time. It looked like there was a few wobbles up there, possibly coinciding with cyclic stick use?

Hi Gordonzo - nice to see a fellow Canuck on here - I actually used to vacation a lot in Sicamous way back when I was a kid. Great recreational area

Sorry, my mistake, it wasn't in the manual where I saw the throttle curve thing I read the supposed 'throttle curve adjustments' from the promo copy of the X200 on basically all/any sites where it is being sold - see the attachment below with arrow highlighting the statement. Don't actually know if it can be done or not - hence my original question!

The wobble in the outdoor flight was mostly due to some wind but as far as the 'glitching' you mention, my X200 does have this as well. I tried the fix in Post #24 of this thread by Stenkryparen and it did help quite a bit! The glitch is still there, but it is a LOT less evident and more controllable now (especially indoors).

Cheers!

I wonder if that is referring to the throttle limit dial? Translations from Chinese to English are tentative at best.

I am trying to transplant an x100/MP pcb into my x200. More difficult than I had expected. My first attempt flips over on throttle. My second attempt spins. Still have a few things to try.

Edit: Got it working but not a good flyer. Gyros are always over-compensating.

ps: The Canuck membership is growing it seems. We might have to have a conference or something.

Another protocol change? The F47 and x200 tx's look the same.

I enjoyed your video 'neighbour'.

I have still not had my x200 outside as we still have over 2' of wet snow on the ground. The things I don't really like about this quad are the wobble at center cyclic, and that the C4002 camera I had for my F45 will not work with the x200.

The things I do like are the solid construction and decent lift power.

I will reserve full judgement until I can get it outside and turn it loose.

Have you tried flipping it yet?

MJX X200 Outdoor Flipping

I totally hear ya on the stupid wobble at center cyclic! It's very annoying and really screws up the aerial footage too.

As far as flipping, yes, I just tried doing that a week ago. Again, it had to be outdoors, but it's actually VERY fun to do First couple flips were using the "camera/function" button, but then got into flipping using the cyclic only (much funner)

Here's a vid for ya - shot from a friends iPhone...

MJX X200 Quad Flips - Deas Island Park (2 min 38 sec)

P.S. I did have the 808-#16 keychain camera attached to the quad while doing the flips (but it had stopped recording - card full) so the extra weight did not affect the flips!

I'm unable to fly mine much at this time of year so all I can do is play 'dress-up' with it. It is upper right here with v998 front blades and canopy to improve visibility for my eyes.
