I edited post #1 in this thread to include a photo of the completed model in a pose like the one of a real Mirage 2000-c in flight, lol. Link: Model in comparison to the full size Mirage 2000.

Second a photo of the repaired nose cone with foam protector nose built in. Last a picture of the model next to the die-cast example I had to referance during the build.

Winds are not friendly yet, but temps are warm enough. Hope winds are supposed to die down in 2 days.

Thank you Bret, you are too kind. My eysight keeps getting worse, and probably because I use 3x readers to build, and often also add a set of 1.75x on top of that! Double glasses, LOL.... More to come.

Thank you Sir, I am very humbled by such kind words.

I have been very Holiday busy. I did a few maiden flights outdoors in a field next to the house. Very stable, but a few launches were dumb thumb and i broke the nose off twice, once as a lawn dark. Very easy fix.

Tried hat cam video, but my Grandbaby was quite involved in the flight tests, so I got no good footage, sorry.

I want more power for sure so plans are to test my BimRC rotors I received. I am thinking to try the 4 blade on a HK Turnigy 1015, 2 cell, 22mm shroud. All that added weight might be OK but I don't think it would fit the airframe at 1/48" scale (brushless ESC alone is so big). Might need to enlarge slightly, or maybe I would go with a different airframe ( I love variety).

Hi Ken,

Hat cam video was a total bust. Been Winter time here, Holidays, and a Daughter moved out to her first apartment. I have not touched a model, Transmitter, foam, or even been in the shop for over a month.... Nice time off I must say, probably needed it. We will possibly try again come Spring/summer!
