More than 10 years ago I modified my Robbe Concorde to fly Indoors - using brushed ferrite magnet motors and NiMH batteries. It would be much easier today - using LiPo batteries and light brushless outrunners.

P.S.: I still have an unopened Concorde kit in my workroom.

Jurgen is able to acuse others of being ignorant without getting reported.

Can someone explain how that works?

Likely nothing will happen. You changed the wording of a post made by someone else and then reposted it in a manner that was trolling or provocating.

So provoking others is ok so long as you don't do it ironically.

Someone is getting special treatment around here. It has turned this discussion into a joke.

Jurgen - do you think a TwinJet could be bashed into a SL by extending the foward fuse and adding cannards ?

... You guys need to grow some thicker skin AND learn to let "it" roll off your back.

My personal un-belief is that Mr. J. is the one who advised MPX to destroy the molds and now that the huge mass of people are demanding them - he doesn't want HK to produce them by the 1000's to save face

I don't think that would work very well - the wing planform is completely different. I think it would be easier to build the model from scratch.

I want the half hour of my life back that it took to read to page 28.

Though this was about the SL but instead learned about cars, trucks and the flying population of Germany vs USA.

Mods should gut this thread. Probably only 2 pages of actual content here.

Take this post off too!

And I, for one, am greatly amused by your facts from more than a decade ago.

You should go ahead and build out that SL you have and show everyone how cool it is flying indoors, then maybe more people will want one.

To tell the truth ,I don't think he actually has one NIB or otherwise .If he had (in my opinion based on comments he has made previously) ,he would have already built it complete with the indoor mods with video to back it up ,just so he could brag that he did so,and that he did so better than any of the rest of us could have..
