I tried CaptJac curves and then went back to stock. For a newbie 6 ch flyer like me the blades screaming at 80% and even 70% was just too intimidating. I have to admit though that it was easier to maintain a constant height while hovering with his settings. I probably will go back to his settings when I have a little more experience under my belt.

Steve, I don't know about BG, but I still haven't received the iMax B6 AC charger that I bought 6 weeks ago.
I could've swum to China & back in that time & I don't swim very well.
I sent them an email about it & they said if I ain't got it by the end of this week, I'll get a full refund. Thank you.

I bought a "genuine" one from Hobby King, just in case it's a no-show.

Oh yeah & BTW, the spare Tx I bought, modded & checked for soldering errors......doesn't bind to the heli. Darn factory rejects/2nds!
Sent them an email as well but haven't heard back yet.

L..

ps. I might just call myself a "Slot car technician/specialist" then.

Laurie,

did you contact the CS via direct mail to this add: Cservice@Banggood.com?

If so - did you get an answer?

If not ( I assume) be aware -
this address often doesn't allow direct contact - I had to copy'npaste my mail in the direct "chat" window on their page to reach them.

-mike-
edit - reread your post.

I've ordered quite a bit of stuff from them and it usually takes three to four weeks. I don't think they're to blame though. On the items that had tracking numbers it seemed like their origin post took forever to ship and then once they got to the US they would sit at our ports for several days. Everything eventually made it to me.

Stop scaring me guys, It was my first order from them wish I would have thought about that stuff before I bought it

I have to deal with a micro quad or 50 inch 3.5 channel till that stuff gets it and its getting boring already with nothing to mod.

But when I tried it with some wind ( 5-7 mph) it was all over the
place, and almost uncontrollable.

That's when I moved the battery to a 45 degree angle like most of
you have yours. I tried it again, and it still was too wild in wind.

I added some nuts to the "weights" I'm using (flybar connectors)
and now they are 1.6 grams. I was in the process of testing them
and another main motor died on me. For the short time I flew it,
it seemed much better.

My linkage is getting old, and is starting to get sloppy. This probably
contributed to the problems with wind.

Testing to be continued in one week (hopefully)

My HK250GT is down as well, I clipped a wall, and broke a bolt off
in a blade grip. The head has had enough minor crashes that it
is getting sloppy, the swash bearing is really bad.

The stock head held up well, so since a new head is $20, and a new
kit is $33, I'll wait until I can spring for a whole kit. A tail rebuild wouldn't
hurt, either. The Align belt is still going strong. So far it has matched
3 EXI belts for abuse (tail strikes).
The EXI tail blades, on the other hand, have been great, and survived
clips with blacktop at 70% throttle.

Dont feel bad my 9116 is down for the count atm also it decided to play chicken with a crow all i know feathers flew and the heli dropped out of the sky lol

Sorry. I should've included the merchant I bought the iMax from.
It wasn't BG, but an eBayer.
