It sounds like just what we need.

The F645 might be a tank, but it still has far more cyclic than
a stock 9116, and balance bar leverage is one of the few
differences between them.
Nice find! That sounds very promising. I sent off some plans this afternoon to have mixing arms printed. The ball stud mounting holes on one end of the first set are in their original position, while the others are moved 25%,50% and 75% further away from the axis of rotation so we can test with all three. I'm guessing it will be one week for the 3.8mm ball studs to come from eBay and up to 2 weeks for the mixing arms to come in. I also ordered some 3mm Honey Bee mixing arm bearings from BangGood, but I do not have measurements for outer diameter or width so this design will only be supported by the 3mm plastic shaft like the original part.

In the meantime, more practice!

Haha, let's see if these actually work first! I may have only succeeded in wasting some $$ a few bits of plastic.

Btw, saw your post about quads and PM sent!

That would mean your tail does not have enough power.
Since it is a new tail, double-check your trims and sub-trims.
_________________________________________________

If the tail is overpowering the main motor, and on the ground it spins
CW, then it's either a failing main motor, binding in the gears or bearings,
or the PCB.

There are other obscure problems that could cause this, such as a
bad potentiometer in the transmitter. But 90% of the time it will be
either a bad main motor or a bad PCB.

While it's all powered up, try to spin the heli by hand, and see if the
tail motor responds to movement.

If the tail runs wide open as soon as you give it a little throttle then
there is either a shorted output transistor or a bad gyro, and both
require replacement of the PCB.

Did you crash? It does not take much to break a gyro, they are very
shock sensitive.

I changed the entire boom and motor so wire crossing was not an issue. I did crash and that started the problems. So, I changed the tail assembly again back to the old one just for kicks and whatever was causing the problem went away. Maybe a bad new motor. It's flying fine now. Maybe it's a female bird and just being tempermental...haha. Thanks to everyone for all of your input. You guys rock!

This is taking modding to a new level. Awesome job.
