Main Motor

Main motors get 50 to 70 flights.
Tail motors are usually 40-50, but I have had a few start to act
up after 20 flights

Steve;
My first tail motor lasted two flights. Bought two more, second lasted 20 flights. I put the third on while waiting on the direct drive parts. It has 20 flights before the mod. The direct drive has about 20 flights and works great. My main motor has 70 flights on it. I wait thirty minutes before charging and thirty minutes after before flying. I guess I am on borrowed time with my main motor. What motor do you recommend for replacement. I assume stock from what I have seen.
Thanks.

I can do very fast banked turns with my V911 with forward and L/R cyclic and no back elevation. But I have not tried that technique on the larger models yet.

That's the thing, I would really like to get away from having a tail motor. And just have one brushless run the whole works.

I just want something with metal head parts and brushless "hobby grade" electronics......Something that will last and not have to constantly be replacing plastic parts and so on

Does anyone know if it is possible to disable the 9116 servo mixing? I assume it's done on the PCB but I have no clue how. I have a project in mind and I want to test it for free on my 9116 before sinking any cash into it. Problem is I need up-down and left-right to be independent channels. Any ideas?
