THE Cinestar 8 - Flight Time - Thread

I couldnt find a good thread on max flight time with the CS 8
Figured a single thread dedicated to the science of balancing weight with power of battery, prop size and style, and load capacities needed could benefit us all
Please feel free to link me to an existing one if there is one already...
Standardizing the format will help compare apples to apples.
Let me know if im missing anything.

I have to say you are using a very low mah battery to start with. Two 5000 is the least that should be flown with that size multi for sure. And if these are QC motors you may even what to go to 5S batteries as well, but 3300 mah is for alot smaller and lighter machines.

Im flying two 3300's and have tried two 4200's
Still low flight times imo.
Quadrocopter ships these with a single 6200 no?
Curious to other peoples setups.

There must be a diminishing returns plateau when increasing the battery size/weight.

Well you are nowhere near that.
As M said you need a min of 2 5000mAh 4s batts for that rig.

You can even go dual 6000mAh.

I found out that the propellers are very important. I have tested different types and so far the stock apc 14x4,7 has the best flighttime.

You are landing way to early, loaded landing voltage should be around 14v for a 4s battery.
