GRP Tire Foam insert Question!

Hello everybody, could someone tell me if I have to use all of foam insert for the tires or can I cut off the extra??
I can't see trying to stuff all of the extra into the tire?
A quick response would be nice, I was just about to do them.

Stuff it in Ray, it will fit. Once in, it all smooths out nicely without a gap at the ends.

At least mine did . I didn't want a gap to throw off the balance even worse that it probably is anyway.

What all did you get from CNR, Ray? You getting it all put together? How about your CF frame project?.

You don't want the foam to clod together so, just cut off the extra length and glue the edges togethe with a flexible glue that won't make the foam hard and off you go.

Not sure if this is nessecary but i'm used to doing this because with my bigscale cars it's an absolut must! Didn't even came to my mind to squeeze the insert in

I just rolled it along the rim and saw it was to long ans automaticly cut it to size.

Well...I could fit all the foam in without any serious clumps.
What did I get from CNR? I got: 45 shore tires (they smell cool!),
the Aluminum rim's F & R, C/F triple clamp, small drive sprocket, 25 tooth rear sprocket, Aluminum Main Shaft, and last but not least a Front Brake Kit!
The frame I haven't started because I want alot of time to do it right and I only want to "suit up" one if possible. Right now I have a dead line for a project at work and we all know that's what pay's for all this stuff, no worries I will post pic's ASAP showing the process of it all.
In the spring I will finish the rest of the bike off with CNR and an extra set of Delrin 6 spoke rims they are cool! But so is Aluminum!
I had to wait a month before Dave at CNR could make some back AL rims.

I also got a pair of 50 shore tires with my TT bike, and cut the front foam only. It was almost 5cm (2 in. approx.) longer.
The balance looks fine... I m too slow to detect anything wrong, right now! Maybe when I install the 14x2...

And, yes, Ray, they do smell nicer than the original "tire" smell!
