Chris, Without the hard case, the Hero2 HD GoPro is 42mm tall by 60mm wide by 30mm thick.
The GoPro 3 as best as I am able to tell since I don't have one is the same but only 20mm thick.

That is OK since I don't have the money to buy a GoPro 3. You at least have the GoPro 2 measurements from my own.
Still I am certain that the GoPro 3 dimensions will be correct when someone with one responds.

Thought I'd share this with you guys, i just received a 808 #16 keychain cam for FPV flights with my HK Bixler and i hooked it up to receiver on the quad, it shows a lot of promise, here is short vid of it.

You can drag the holes outwards a bit to get 45mm, no problem. There is no traces in that direction.

have you noticed the change in the hole spacing on the KK2 boards? Is there sufficient oversize in your center plate FC mounting holes to shift the spacers enough so it doesn't matter?

Those hero 3 dimensions can't be correct. Look at the side view in the link you provided. .08" - 2.032mm thick, I think not!
I have e-mailed a friend with a Hero 3 and will get the correct dimensions.

Hi,

This was valid for V1 CNC plates. For V2 and V3 CNC plates, the FC fits dead on. I have corrected this beginning with the introduction of V2. Basically, the V1 were cut using my directions to use 45mm hole to hole but this did not work perfectly. For V2 and V3, I gave a KK2 board to the CNC factory to copy the hole pattern perfectly and they did. I still use the same video for frame assembly instructions but it's to show how the frame goes together only. The holes will line up and no need to adjust anything. I guess I need to put together a new frame assembly video.

And no, I have not noticed any changes on the KK2 in terms of holes spacing.

Awesome video clarity for a keychain. Nice video. I think you have the record for the highest altitude with an Armattan quad. It's WAY up there for a while. Well done. That looks like a lot of fun.
