what battery do you recomend for longest flight time?
what would be the max flight time with a gopro, fpv setup, fpv battery and a gimbal (total 315g)?
would the 335 or 400 be better suited to my needs?
My quads are acro quads. Wgike they have a huge amount of thrust, they can easily lift a Go pro but flight time will be short. Flight time already is quite short given they are quads built to perform.

Please read the first page of this thread and come back with any questions you may have.

Chris

That is correct. And PLEASE guys... Follow the ordering instructions posted on page 1... I had to chase 3 people for shipping addresses tonight.... This is a big waste of my time.

Thanks a lot.

I hope this is planned for future builds and kits.

Hi Thurmond,

Nicely spotted.

Here's the CNC V2 design that is soon to replace the V1 model currently sold in this thread. The V2 center plates are compatible with the V1 center plates, by the way. This model (shown below) will be up for grabs in about a week.

The center plates on the V2 model have the mounting holes for the Open Pilot FC as you can see, as well as the KK2/Multiwii mounting holes.

I guess tech69 will have to scrounge to find these parts so he can try to copy them, too! Good luck to him.... I'll be posting a thank you thread in traders talk about him soon...

Best,
Chris.

Chris, will the 355 also be updated to a V2 and be using these new centre plates?

Chris,
I'd like to order a 355 CNC DIY kit with the black center plates if you are accepting orders.

PS. Bob, how much for a CNC quad kit minus the ESC's and KK2 (happen to have both in "stock" already).
Assuming that this is the right place to ask questions before ordering?

What motors and props are you using on this one? Just want to make sure F20's would do the job.

cheers,
Andrew

Hi,

The F20 will work fine. I used 2822 2600 and 2800KV. I like the 2826s but flight time is shorter- More oumff, though.

Props can be 8 or 9 inch, though I would not put 9 inch on the 2600kv motors.

Best,
Chris
